Taraba 2019: Thugs attack APC guber candidate entourage, burn 6 vehicles.

Thugs in Taraba State on Thursday attacked the campaign entourage of the state’s All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Sani Danladi

Sani Danladi’s convoy was attacked in Wukari Local government of the state by hoodlums who also set ablaze six vehicles in his entourage.  

David Akinremi, the state commissioner of police confirmed the attack, warning politicians to desist from any act capable of threatening the existing peace in the state.

Among the personalities in APC gubernatorial candidate convoy were the Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Alh. Hassan Ardo Jika, the state party chairman among others.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicly said the action was necessitated by the invasion of Wukari by political thugs causing breakdown of law and order in the town.
