Anti-India Militants Kill Four In Kashmir

Suspected rebels fighting against Indian rule in disputed Kashmir have attacked a police post, killing four officers.
The assailants mounted a surprise attack in Zainpora village of southern Kashmir valley and stole four automatic rifles from the post.
According to police official Swayam Prakash Pani, three police officers were killed instantly while another was critically wounded.
Pani added that the fourth victim died later at a military hospital.
The attack comes two days after soldiers killed two teenage rebels in the restive territory.
Militant group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has claimed responsibility.
In August in the same area, four police officials were killed in a rebel attack.
Rebels have been fighting Indian control since 1989. India accuses Pakistan of arming and training the rebels, a charge Pakistan denies. Nearly 70,000 people have been killed in the uprising and the ensuing Indian military crackdown.
