The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has issued a certificate to President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday.
WAEC Registrar, Iyi Uwadiae, made the presentation of the document to the President on Friday at the State House in Abuja.
The special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adeshina disclosed this information on his twitter account.
Adeshina wrote: “WAEC presents attestation certificate and confirmation of school cert result to President Buhari. What will the naysayers say next?”
The absence of the president’s certificate has been generating reactions ahead of the 2019 election, after he submitted his nomination forms to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) without his certificate.
