At least 26 people have been killed, with about 50 others injured when in a suicide blast at a mosque in an army base in eastern Afghanistan.
Security officials say the explosion took place as the victims were gathering for Friday prayers in the Ismail Khel district of Khost province.
All those killed in the suicide attack were working for the Afghan security forces, said Capt. Abdullah, a military spokesman in the province.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
